"Walk the Streets of Bakersfield" Car Show Sept. 9th brought in a hundred or so competitors and display vehicles. That coupled with great weather, speedy judging, and a great group of gearheads in attendance, made for a memorable day.
Participating veterans were honored at the days show.
Bakerfest is always a good show to catch. The town of Bakersfield has their city festival and along with it comes the "Walk the Streets of Bakersfield" car and truck show. Right around a hundred vehicles made the show with drive thru judging moving smoothly throughout the morning. Veterans were honored and many awards were handed out at the end of the show. If you missed it, you can still catch the fall super cruise or the Corning Harvest Fest and car show. Check out the schedule page for a full list of remaining shows and cruises before end of season.
Southern Cruisers Car Show in downtown Cabool Sept 16, was another great success. Live music, vendors, food, and lots of Detroit steel were the sights and sounds of the day. Spectators filled the streets to enjoy the days festivities. Several club members made the show. Enough to win the largest club in attendance award that day. Several friends of the club were there also. Below are some pics of our club members cars and trucks along with a couple friends car pics.
Show season is coming to a close. If you haven't caught a good show lately, consider checking out Corning AR Harvest Festival and Car Show, Oct. 28. Its a fantastic festival with a large show, sometimes 250+ cars. There are other shows and cruises between now and then. Check out the schedule page for a list of events through the end of the season. The West Plains Christmas parade will be Dec. 9. The club will make plans to attend so put that one on your calendar.
